Our ladies of the Brixton Hill rock everyday of the year, but a special salute to you all on this, the day today (before you ask, International Men&#8217;s Day is on Nov 19, we&#8217;ll salute all you men then) xx<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RELEASES &amp; NEWS<\/strong>: The hardest working women in rock <em>Madonnatron<\/em> have been getting some love from BBC 6Music&#8217;s <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/m0002s2z\">Gideon Coe<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/m0002t7l\">Marc Riley<\/a><\/strong> for their new single &#8216;<a href=\"http:\/\/madonnatrontrashmouth.bandcamp.com\/track\/sucker-punch\"><em>Sucker Punch&#8217;<\/em><\/a>. While you&#8217;re listening again to those shows, there&#8217;s also still time to hear Riley&#8217;s sessions from BXHSers <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/m0002t55\"><em>Art Brut<\/em><\/a><\/strong> and <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/m0002m89\">Big Joanie<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, the latter of which head out to the USofA for SXSW, along with BXHS faves <em>Black Midi<\/em> and <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/schedule.sxsw.com\/2019\/artists\/2007085\">Laura Misch<\/a><\/em><\/strong> who&#8217;s been spending some time here at the studios this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having had an EP launch party at The Sebright Arm last week, female fronted 4 piece, <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/foundlings.bandcamp.com\/album\/foundlings-ep\">Foundlings<\/a><\/em><\/strong>&#8216; eponymous EP goes up on itunes\/spotify etc today, and BXHS regulars <em>Pregoblin<\/em>&#8216;s forthcoming &#8216;<em>Combustion&#8221;<\/em> single got a rave review in the <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/music\/2019\/mar\/01\/tierra-whack-track-of-week\">The Guardian<\/a><\/em><\/strong> no less. Sister Talk have there single launch party for <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=6lmi3UotQZ4&amp;fbclid=IwAR0f6v4lrW4Wb_kM9_CkPYmQiGa-NAAWiUa-MWc0yYtepRKL8gbc0D4_1Tc\">&#8216;Vitriol<\/a><\/em>&#8216; on Wednesday 13th. <em>Rollers Of Bedlam<\/em> recently released &#8216;<strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/rollersof\/videos\/1213575422130940\/\">Rock&#8217;n&#8217;Roll<\/a><\/em><\/strong>&#8216;, recorded by our very own Alessio Costa. Also recorded here, this time by Sir Nick of Howiantz, <em> Light Emitting Dinosaur<\/em>s&#8217; debut single &#8216;<strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/getinherears.com\/2019\/02\/28\/watch-light-emitting-dinosaurs-ambition\/?fbclid=IwAR2mMuKGIiULll1-WwI8VTF0kZ-mDFiLZruUeEl3akGtK_3bgVyVXOi0XTE\">Ambition&#8217;<\/a><\/em><\/strong> &#8211; &#8220;an intriguingly fresh slice of alternative sound&#8221; (Louder Than War) &#8211; is available to download now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whatever you&#8217;re up to this month, rock hard.
